Finding Time to Write: A Writer’s Predicament

Time to write

For the past few weeks, I have been a very busy writer. Writing, marketing, promoting, editing, and posting have been consuming my world. With my book available in print and e-book, I have been spending all my free time telling the world about my book, Princess of the Light, and my mission: feeding the hungry.

Monday, though, I began to hear my muse tugging at my heart.  “It’s time, MRS N.”

“Time for what?”

“Book two.”

I shoved her aside and scoffed, “I don’t have time for that right now. I have to concentrate on promoting book one and getting people to read it.”

Tuesday came and this time my muse wasn’t as nice. She started tapping her foot and pleading, “You need to write again. Continue your story. Than’s Revenge is going to be even better than the first one.”

I tried to ignore her but she grew…
