  Characteristically, Harry threw himself into bond rallies and camp shows. For the later, he let himself go, doing the straight magic which he loved. By the end of the war he had distributed 7,000 in this fashion, without cashing in on it for publicity; it was mitzvah, out of his own pocket and gladly given. (202)
